Church Planting

Part of the vision of Columbia Crossroads is the planting of new churches. The church planting team exists to help us identify and assess church planters, research potential church planting needs in Columbia (and beyond), and secure training resources for new church plants. Through the Infinity Alliance , we seek to partner with existing missional churches as well as start new ones. 

As you take a look at our church plants you will notice that there are three categories in which we define our plants-Satellite, Partner, and Sponsor. 


OUR PLANTS


Satellite Church Plants
A Satellite plant shares the vision and values of Crossroads,although the styles may vary among the congregations.  We give the bulkof our resources (time/money/people/leadership) to these plants.  TheTeaching Team for Crossroads rotates among the campuses.  Satelliteplants remain under the authority of the Columbia Crossroads Eldersuntil they have their own leadership team in place.

Partner Church Plants
Partner plants reflect the heart of the vision and values ofCrossroads.  Some of the ways we help our partner plants include: coaching, financial support, and people for the launch team. Partnerchurches are relationally connected but are not under the authority ofthe Columbia Crossroads Elders.

Sponsored Church Plants
Sponsorplants are churches that we have great relationships with and are ourdear friends.  They are churches that we have supported in a variety ofways (typically financial and coaching).  We spend much more time withour Sponsor churches than with the plants that simply attend ourRenovation Centers.
